By attending or participating in our sittings and events, you acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for your own well-being and for any decisions or actions taken as a result of the information shared in the group. These groups are informational and supportive in nature and are not intended to be, nor should they be construed as, a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic care.

Abuse and Harassment

The Zendo is a space where everyone should feel physically safe. If for any reason you feel you have or are being abused or harassed, or feel you have witnessed this happen to someone else, please raise the issue immediately with one of the teachers and it will be addressed with utmost urgency.

If you believe the matter to be criminal in nature, please reach out to the local authorities.

Privacy and Confidenciality

Privacy and confidentiality is taken with utmost respect at The Zendo. Your conversations with the teachers is kept in strict confidence. It should be noted that due  to the nature of this work, conversations about your situation or progress may be discussed between the teachers as a means of supporting you.

We make every attempt to use technology that also supports your privacy and confidentiality. If you feel in anyway that this has been compromised or that there are preferred methods of handling it, please feel free to reach out to the teachers.
